Happy Fit for Life Fit Friday! Today we want to celebrate a life well lived.
Paul Westerhouse, a long time dedicated and loyal member of Fit for Life, left us too soon. We considered Paul (aka “Slouch”) a “fixture” at Fit for Life. When he wasn’t working or rehabbing some injury, you could find him at the gym. He spent hours and hours climbing miles and miles on what we labeled “Paul’s stair climber”. He also spent hours in the training studio lifting weights to develop and maintain muscle strength. Exercise and well-being were his passion.
Paul participated in a variety of activities at Fit for Life including group classes (Kelly’s Core Class, Corey’s Power 45 and Suspension Training classes), Lifesteps with Sheila and Wellness Coaching with Corey. He partook in our fitness challenges and, of course, our annual golf outings. He was a kind man with a great heart and everyone who knew him at the gym became friends with Paul. We are all sad to say good-bye.
The gym won’t be the same without you Slouch. Watch over us and Rest in Peace!
